Magician

The Magician card seems to be the apt card in the current environment globally.

I was reading the newspaper this morning and all it had was bad news, a financial mayhem, people losing jobs, companies closing down, stock markets crashing, business at its lowest and you wonder if this is worst and whether tomorrow will ever be ok.

In this scenario, the Magician card simply could make you feel optimistic in a pessimistic scenario.

The symbol of the snake is the Uroborus snake, which relates to the recycling of the universe, what goes up must come down principle or vice-versa. It is about giving birth to oneself from nothing like the goddess giving birth unaided by the male. It also relates to unrefined material like the ingredients of a dish before it is cooked. The cooking gives it the refinement and the taste.
The Magic card as I call it directs our senses to the resources available with us, this is one card where you see the cups, pentacles, the swords and the wands. The serpent also denotes the infinite possibilities and the universal nature of existence and the yin and the yang of energy.
When you feel all is lost, look at the resources available with you, the mental aptitiude, the physical body that is capable of labor, the spirit within you that can drive your action and the material world/earth that provides multiple opportuinities. If you can find a recipe to put in all the right ingredients in the right quantities, you can serve a sumptuous dish everyday that makes your daily bread. Yet, we are often depressed and frustrated by the limitations, the environment and the people around us.
So let the Magician drive you today to bring abundance in your life.
I practice feng shui and the three legged toad is a symbol of fortune that can be placed under a table to attract better fortune. I am not sure if the three legged table is related but I see it as the trinity, heaven, earth and man energy that are required to harmonize life.
At this time, the Magician card is a card of hope that reminds us to be hopeful and work in faith with the resources in our life to create magic and results.
If we can count our blessings rather than what is missing, we can find the strength to take the next step and move on.

Fool

I have been doing a countless things and juggling a lot in the past couple of months and if I did not post for a while, it is because my journey has been leading me on to new knowledge and learning.

I was in Malaysia for a Feng Shui course, one of the best things I did in a long time not only because of the course and what I learnt. I met amazing people from around the world and we connected in very special ways and now most of them have become my very good friends.

The Fool leads you on in paths that one does not understand and you have to be willing to give up on your careful planned ways to follow your instinct and your heart. You come across amazing experiences that you can never plan for.
I met a Spanish woman who spoke only Spanish but we communicated and seemed to totally understand one another. I met this angelic woman from Prague who stirred my heart and a friend I want for life.

I came back home, feeling overwhelmed and totally satisfied with my journey. I attended a workshop on handwriting analysis and was introduced to another community of people. It was beyond understanding personalities. I found myself too. Since the course was hectic and the homework kept me busy, I took a break from my tarot readings so I could concentrate.
I am back now reading at FTN and Allexperts again and connecting to the cards. It seems like I am ready to move to my next card "The Magician".

Page of Pentacles

I had a question on education - a student who wanted to pursue her education in history and the fees was a problem for her. The card was the "Page of Pentacles". This card taught me about the symbolism of the peacock.

The page of pentacles has the desire to learn. There is dedication to knowledge and the attainment of wisdom. You are devoted with great concentration in your interests. At this moment, you may feel that there is nothing you can do that will lift you out of the slump you're in, but someone or something is going to come to your aid and brighten your spirits.

This is a card of a new beginning and of inspiration. The Page is absorbed by the coin in his hands which represents the goal. Your motivation is high and you should direct the energy of your desire towards achieving what you want. Be positive at this time, list the options and pursue it in every way. Write to your school and explain the difficulty and find options. This is a card of encouragement.

The Page looks back at a peacock. Several religions maintain that the peacock was present alongside the Tree of Life, and it is from this bird that all other animals were created. There are Greek and Roman myths having to do with Jupiter (Zuess) and Juno (Hera) and how the peacock was created. The peacock indicates history and if you are going to be studying Greek and Roman mythology, you are heading in the right direction. Your university should be at a place that is at a height in terms of the place you are now in.

In Hinduism the peacock is associated with Lakshmi who is a deity representing benevolence, patience, kindness, compassion and luck. Also the peacock is the vehicle of Lord Muruga who usually lives in the hills. The hills are symbolic of heights and so one may be taken to greater heights.
Similar to Lakshmi, the peacock is associated with Kwan-yin in Japan - she is also an emblem of love, compassionate watchfulness, good-will, nurturing, and kind-heartedness.

You have divine blessings on you. Pray for strength and you will get the education you aim for.

Additional notes : The peacock is also a bird of great beauty, the handsome male when compared to the female bird. When it rains, the peacock spreads its wings and dances, a spectacular sight.

A tarot warning

I was given a warning that I did not heed to. A tarot astrology reading told me that the impact of Mars on my sun sign would cause risky behavior. I was asked not to make any hasty decisions that would cause regret.
I did not want to listen though the warning voice kept ringing in my ears. I went ahead and did something that I regretted in 6 hours. The outcome was a lot of pain and I regretted the move so much.

I was wondering whether some things are just meant to happen or was I just finding excuses for being foolish. I now have asked for the will-power to control my instincts and not make any hasty decisions. I pray for divine energy so I stay grounded and not get swept away by instant happiness and magical happenings.

I ask the cards for forgiveness for not respecting their guidance and I have to understand that the cards may not always tell me what I want to hear but they will always try to ensure that I walk the right path if only I want to follow.

Four of Pentacles

The question of the querent was about her husband's job and money.
The Card - Four of Pentacles.

I now work with Gilded Tarot as the energy feels right. The image is of a man holding on to 4 pentacles standing between 2 pillars.

I see hope and stability but a time for caution on spending as well. The general meaning emphasizes on security, the fear of security or a need for security.
The focus on material wealth is evident and also a distance from worldly affairs and reality. Yet there is hope in this card and all it takes is to turn back and look at the stars. There is advice asking to change your thoughts and to focus on more real things.

What does the card tell me today?

Count your pennies but also your blessings. Do not be fixed on material possessions. The world has a lot to offer if only you are willing. Be careful about spending on the wrong things today.

My prayer: Thank you for the abundant blessings that I am not willing to see, pardon me for my short-sightedness in dealing with life. Help me through this insecurity of earthly possessions. Guard my treasures and keep them safe. Let me see light today and believe that there is hope even when it seems dark.

Join me on this journey

I first experienced tarot when I got a reading done online and was drawn to them instantaneously. I picked my first deck when I traveled to Italy. I started on a course online to understand the meanings.
I picked the Rider Waite deck as most explanations were based on them. I started reading for friends and family; initially I followed the standard explanations. One day when I read for a friend I saw snakes but the image was not on the card. I closed my eyes and saw a farm house with overgrown weeds and a well. I told my friend and he said that there was a house like that in the village and there were snakes. He also told me he was having dreams of snakes everyday which I did not know until then.
It was an out-of-world experience so I started to talk to the cards when I did a reading and I used to see images that were not really on the card but were there (confusing??)

I realized I had an ability that was special so I meditated and asked for guidance before a reading and then it was no more standard formats but an intuitive process. I respect the history of the Tarot and the gurus whose experience and understanding is my bible of knowledge from where I draw inspiration, guidance, and triggers for thought.

The journey has been so awesome and magical. Now I read at the
Free Tarot Network and All Experts. It is a fulfilling and invigorating experience reaching to people, their questions, and their needs.
As I am a pranic healer and into Feng Shui, I sense the energy of the cards which take my intuition to another level. I also ask the tarot to suggest remedies and cures to remove negative chi and enhance the positive chi.

My learning: There is a force stronger more powerful than our imagination that guides life. It leads and directs but will not live your life. One's karma decides certain events in your life which are beyond the human understanding. The universe sends signs and symbols in various ways. Everything living and non-living has energy - both positive and negative that can be transformed. I am on a journey to experience this force and energy and its just the begining. I invite you on this journey as this knowledge is beyond any individual and what I know is only a page of this infinite book.
